Great early groove from Shalamar -- recorded at a time when the trio was really grooving at their best! "Take That To The Bank" -- an amazingly warm little groove, complete with keyboards that flow nicely next to the rhythms, and these great vocal parts that trade back and forth with a wonderfully soulful feel!

Brick - Dazz (1976)

Great stuff! "Dazz" is the group's super-huge hit, and a stone classic! The track's got a percolated funky groove that's ensured the tune a long long life - and which has lead to more than a few samples over the years! "Dazz," topped the R&B charts and was number-three pop in 1976.
